The Smart Plant Maintenance solution operates in a hybrid model on both desktop and mobile devices (Android and iOS), providing flexibility for various roles and use cases. The application makes extensive use of mobile device features such as push notifications, camera, barcode and QR code scanning, access to contact information, and file system integration. It also supports RFID and NFC technologies, as well as OCR and image recognition capabilities.
The solution enables real-time monitoring of sensor data, anomaly detection, and root cause analysis, supporting predictive maintenance and continuous improvement. The user experience is enhanced by an intelligent and visually clear search functionality, based on Google-style hierarchy and material search.
The solution supports both SAP ECC and SAP S/4HANA systems using the PM or CS modules. In addition, SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP) or another compatible cloud platform, like Hyperscaler is required.
